Fabulous Florets

Happy Monday!

Mother’s Day is around the corner so this is an idea to create a Mother’s Card. I am using the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set from the Summer Mini Catalog. It is an easy layout that help gives dimension to the card. The image was stamp with Stazon to make a black silhouette in contrast with the color flower.

Supplies:

Stamp Set- Fabulous Florets, Teeny Tiny Whishes

Paper- Whisper White, So Saffron, Early Espresso, Regal Rose, DSP Subtle

Ink- StazOn, So Saffron

Punch- Word Window, Modern Label Punch

Accessories- Dazzling Diamonds, Liquid Glue, 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon Daffodil Delight, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals

This is a versatile quick and easy Pocket Card great for those occasions when you need a gift and a card at the same time. The pocket is a nice feature to insert money, gift cards, movie tickets, a tag with a sentiment and more.

Recipe:

Cut the No quite Navy CS to 5 ½” on the 8 ½” side

Score the 11” side at 4 1/8 “turn the CS and score at 2 ¾” (on the other end) fold the score lines.

For the pocket (the 2 ¾” flap) one’s decorated with DSP springtime Vintage (5 ¼” X 2 ½ “) use the 1 ¼” circle punch to make the opening to grab a card or tag. Adhere with Sticky Strip (one strip on each side) to form the pocket.

Outside Mat: Naturals Ivory CS cut at 5 X 3 ¾” punch with the Scallop Edge Border at one end. Give it texture with the Polka Dots EF. The Melon Mambo CS cut at 3X4” use the Polka Dots EF too.

Inside Mat: Whisper White cut at 5 ¼” X 3 ¾”. Strip of DSP Springtime Vintage cut at ¾” punch with the Scallop Edge Border at one end.

Tag: Whisper White CS cut at 4 ½” X 3”, DSP 3/4” X 4 ½, Round Tap Punch to pull the tag.

Accessories- Polka Dots EF, Big Shot, ½” Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Adornments Vintage Flower, Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals, Dauber.    

Flower Pot

                         This is a Mother’s Day card using the Fun Flowers Die. I made the pot, insert a tag with 3 flowers where I left some space for any message. Cut the word MOM from the Stamp Set Mother of Mine. I give to card a marble look using Frost White Shimmer Paint and the Spritzer with Basic Black ink. For embellishments I use a Bow.
